TECUnit Web Site
TECUnit's original Web site, launched in 2004, was one of the first sites Justin Kuntz designed and created. By 2010, the site for this worthy non-profit organization needed a fresh look. Creative Soapbox redesigned the site and moved it into ExpressionEngine, a content management system. This gives TECUnit complete control when they need to update their study guides or pricing.
About TECUnit
The Testing, Evaluation, and Certification Unit (TECUnit) is responsible for establishing and maintaining national standards for the profession of cued language transliteration. These standards have developed as the product of extensive documentation and are unique in the field of communication facilitation services involving deaf/hard-of-hearing people. The TECUnit is also responsible for the certification of cued language transliterators at a national level via the Cued Language Transliterator National Certification Examination (CLTNCE).
