Memjet Home and Office approached Creative Soapbox to redesign their Web site to match their new brand, updated by the talented folks at Play Design. They needed a Web site that would reflect their innovations in the printing world and create interest for the future release of printers powered by Memjet technology. During our Listen and Discovery process, MHO expressed they would like more control of their site and be able to easily update content and add news items. We decided to use ExpressionEngine as the content management system because of its flexibility and capacity to scale up in the future.

During the planning phase of the project MHO and Creative Soapbox agreed that each section and page of the site should be unique in layout and content. Having decided this early on, the Design part of the process was a matter of nailing each page by finding individual solutions that worked with the content on that page, whether it be a video gallery or an explanation of the Memjet printhead.As the launch date came closer, we focused on optimizing the site for search engines and unleashing beta testers to give us feedback. The Measure, Manage, & Grow part of our process continues today. While Memjet Home and Office keep up their web presence by adding news items, actively contributing to printer technology blogs and twittering, we are keeping an eye on the analytics.
We also created Memjet.com as the hub for the Memjet family of websites. Memjet Home and Office, Memjet Labels, Memjet Photo Retail and Memjet Wide Format share the Memjet technology, but are in fact separate companies. So we customized each company's site to fit their needs.
